The best option I have found, to protect my Trinity, has been to use a good thick screen protector and the clear plastic cover that clips together. Try borrowing a card from a friend or try putting the card in a digital camera (use a mini-sd converter) and see if the camera will format it for you. Hope this helps. I even put it in my reader to format it and it wouldnt do that... ??!! HELP please!!
